There is very interesting situation about my blog, about which many of my friends knows address from my MSN status but actually this blog never started to live seriously :)

Almost month ago, during my visit in Brussels to my very good friend Rasa, I met my old friend Eve from Belgium (famous EuroLDS 2006) and we touched topic about blogs etc. Somehow I said/promised that I'll reactivate my blog and start to write. Tomorrow morning I really opened my computer and blog account but somehow I gave up in that moment, went out and as many times said "I'll do it tomorrow" :) Lucky me so every tomorrow have its own tomorrow :) Anyway, shame on me!

It happen many times that you do something when that is really needed. So, this is school example of that case, actually it is really for school this time. Yap, I have homework for my faculty to create blog with certain content on it. Then I remembered that I have my old blog which I would really like to reactivate and till you are reading this post that is happening. Also I found some posts saved as draft from 2007, maybe they will be published one day :) I just hope that I'll continue to publish something this time. One girl said to me few minutes ago when I told her that I'm going to reactivating my blog and to keep fingers crossed for me, that when some girls is keeping fingers crossed for you that is not good. I heard for the first time in my life for that, but we'll see, maybe that is explaining some things that are (not) happening :P

Until my next post I would really like to share with you interview of Rambo Amadeus that was published last year around November (it is in Serbian, sorry friends around the world). He is talking about how level energy and fuel around the world is decreasing very fast and how we need to save available energy and act more sustainable. He didn't just identify the problem, he also gave solution that is very piratical and I like it. One of the possible ways to save energy is to change all your light bulbs in the house with energy saver light bulbs. How? His interview in short: when you are going to some celebration of your friend, buy and give as a present one energy saver light bulb instead of vine or something else. Price is almost the same as good quality vine ;)

I already changed all light bulbs at my place. Did you?

Rambo Amadeus: Upalila se sijalica!

Da, to je sinonim za ideju. Proka Pronalazač je uvijek imao sijalicu iznad glave, koja je davala do znanja da ima neku „strašnu" ideju.

Vidim po prodavnicama elektromaterijala da štedljive sijalice više nisu nepoznate kupcima, prodaju se. To me stvarno raduje . Svaka zamjenjena sijalica novom, štedljivom, znači prosječno ušteđenih oko 70 kilovat-časova struje godišnje. Ako svako domaćinstvo kupi po jednu, to je onda 70 miliona kilovat-časova ušteđene struje!

Kada bi se zamjenile sve sijalice u Srbiji štedljivima, termoelektrana Obrenovac mogla bi slobodno da se isključi! Eto nam odmah i čistijeg vazduha.

Kako ljude stimulisati da ih kupuju? Kako im objasniti da svaka sijalica ne samo da vrati uložen novac nego još i višestruko zaradi kroz smanjenje računa?

Pa evo ideje. Upalila mi se sijalica!

Vi koji ste shvatili da te sijalice, osim što štede struju, štede i pare, nosite ih prijateljima na poklon.

Prosječna cijena jedne je od 300 do 500 dinara, kao boca dobrog vina.

Ide sada serija slava, budite višestruko korisni, umotajte sijalicu u ukrasni papir i nosite ljudima na poklon. To je pravi poklon, bez sumnje. Traje, namijenjen je domaćinstvu i svim ukućanima, obradovaćete i domaćicu i domaćina, učinićete nešto korisno za ekologiju, a i za kućni budžet vaših prijatelja, da ne govorim da ćete uticati i na smanjenje alkoholizma, koji se , ruku na srce, dobrano zapatio u ambijentu tranzicije.

Izazvaćete i pažnju ostalih gostiju, bićete zanimljivi, imaćete temu za razgovor, vješto izbjegavajući nezahvalne priče o politici.

Ako mislite da poklon nije dovoljno vrijedan, kupite im dvije, tri sijalice, ili čitav komplet, za stan!

Petnaest sijalica, koliko je potrebno za prosječan stan, košta oko 70 eura, to je sasvim dostojna vrijednost svadbenog poklona.

Razmislite, mladenci su zatrpani tosterima, sokovnicima, vagama, mikserima i kojekakvim glupim aparatima koje nikad ne otvore ili se poklanjaju dalje unedogled. Bar ćete biti sigurni da će se vaš poklon upotrebljavati svaki dan.

Za deset godina mladencima ćete uštediti bar za jedno krstarenje po Mediteranu. Malo li je?

Gdje god idem u goste, na poklon nosim štedljivu sijalicu. Idem dotle da ne prepuštam domaćinu da je ugradi „kasnije" ili „sutra", već ga natjeram da „proba poklon odmah".

Ove neonske, štedljive sijalice, traju dugo ako se mnogo ne pale i gase, pa ih je najbolje stavljati tamo gdje najduže gore u kontinuitetu.

Recimo kod mene, u hodniku, otkad padne mrak, dok svi ne polegamo, uopšte ne gasim svijetlo.

Deset kilovat-časova, umjesto uobičajenih 80, koliko troši obična sijalica, stvarno je zanemarljivo.

U kupatilu mi gori čitavu noć, da klinci , ako im se noću pripiški, ne bauljaju po stanu.

Račun za struju, jer imamo centralno grijanje, pa se struja troši samo na svijetlo, kuvanje i bojlere, sada je duplo manji.

Poklanjajte ljudima štedljive sijalice. U Engleskoj i u Australiji ovu stvar su riješili mnogo praktičnije. Obične, „edisonove sijalice", koje smo koristili do sada, jednostavno su zabranili. Nema ih u slobodnoj prodaji.

Pošto naš parlament ima „pametnija" posla nego da donosi neophodne zakone iz ove oblasti, učinimo nešto sami. Narod koji se pretjerano oslanja na svoju vlast obično ne dogura daleko. Čovjek ipak mora uraditi prvo nešto sam da bi očekivao pomake u društvu.

Hey my friends, family and people all over the world!

I decided long time ago to reactivate my blog but I was delaying it all the time, don't ask why. :)

Now I have great things for reactivation post to put on the blog! ;)

Since Tuesday, 20 November I was in visit to my girlfriend Tina in Prague. For those who don't know, she is Slovak, we met each other on IC in Turkey this summer. She is studying in Brno (Czech Republic) but currently leaving and working for AIESEC Czech Republic in Prague.

So probably all of you wondering what that happened what made me to reactivate my blog... Beside sightseeing, discovering new coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and parts of the city I was COOKING FOR FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE. Just to make it clear under cooking I don't count eggs, hot dogs and that kind of stuffs.

So what I was cooking? I don't know how much is usual in other Serbian family cousins, but in cousin of my mum it is :) That is Emperors pie (Carska pita) and Fritters - Beef dough nuts (Mesnati ustipci). I was very good, of course with great assistance of Tina, and everybody are good until know (that was 4 days ago), happy, satisfied and, what is the most important, they like it. There was nothing left! :) If somebody want recipe, just e-mail me or ask over comment ;)

Also those are some photos as a proofs! Dragice, mum, you should be proud on me! :)

As majority of people know, day after, on 21 November, England and Croatia were playing last game of qualification for UEFA Euro 2008 in soccer/football. So what was that much unforgettable? I was sitting in English pub with Ines (friend from Croatia) and 2 English and 1 Norway colleagues of her and watching the game England-Croatia in pub packed with English funs and that game was deciding will England go on Euro 2008 or stay at home! And as cherry on the top was that England was loosing whole game and they lost at the end from Croatia 3:2, so Ines and me we were only one who was not sad in that pub. You should see faces of that English guys. They were so happy and proud in some moments, making great atmosphere but... somebody needs to stay at home, Serbia is staying as well :)

After 4 months I would like to share some thoughts which I wrote right after one conference between 1. and 5. November 2006. but didn't pubilshed them until now...

Everybody talking that first conference in any AIESEC career is special, unforgettable for ever. Of course all of them are thinking on National Leadership Development Seminar, shortly NLDS. I didn’t realize that in my time when I was new AIESEC member. But “now”, in November 2006, after to years of AIESEC career I got second chance, to feel atmosphere of one NLDS, to experience conference such is NLDS, as a member of National Team (MC) of AIESEC Serbia.

Now, after my first NLDS I can say that I can understand people when they are talking about this conference. It is really special, unique atmosphere, people… everything! It is really hard to experience something as NLDS on any other conference or life situation.

I can say that this was the best conference ever for me, the best in my AIESEC life until now!

I would like to say thank you to my MC Team 2006/07 on this opportunity, Facilitators Team and Facilitator Supports, Organizing Committee (OC) Team and delegates of course!!! You changed my life!!! I will never forget this conference!!!
